I'm using this to help plant grass over a large yard with tons of giant brown spots. I'm laying the seed and then using the tiller to thatch and work the grass into the dirt in one shot and it is working amazing! I had spent years unsuccessfully trying to grow grass in this part of my yard and the results so far are crushing everything else I had tried.I had one hiccup with the product when one of the batteries died, but they replaced it quickly and were easy to deal with. Since it's battery powered, it probably isn't suitable for heavier commercial uses, but it's great for a homeowner working in their yard here and there. You can also buy aftermarket batteries (which I have added) to get more working time out of the tiller. I've probably got 40-50 hours of use on it so far and it's still going strong, even with my rocky soil.The picture is part of the area I worked the grass in and is the "before" picture. I'll post the "after" in a few weeks. I can already see the grass germinating all over, but it's not enough to see in an after picture yet.

This a powerful little machine that gets the job done! I have a 30x 12 foot garden and planted the rows a little close for my full sized tiller. So i ordered this one. It was super easy to assemble, comes with two batteries already charged and it was ready to rock in 5 minutes.Its strong for its size!! It will dig down 4-6 inches to till the rows between planting on initial pass. If you want to go deeper just pass over the same area and its digs 8-12 inches deep.I am older and it was easy to handle but it will pull you along if you don’t get a good grip on it! Its speedy! Did a fantastic job. Pic shows what it did on one battery out of the box without charging it up! Finished the second part (about 12x12 on second battery (which i charged completely) and it still was fully charged. Easy to clean the tines. Battery life is great! Highly recommend this. You wont be sorry!

I bought this with not real high expectations. After the easy assembly I put it to use for about and hour breaking up grass thatch and weeds . I was very pleased with how it did so well . The ground did see a good amount of rain the last few days so that I'm sure helped out a bit . The ease of cleaning the tines clear of debris is a big plus . For the price it's a great instrument. I used also in some garden beds and it worked well in them as well . It came with all the parts as well . I'd give it an 8.5 the only reason not a 10 is that it's probably a bit heavy for some individuals. But it would need some weight to break ground easier . 2 batteries that arrived fully charged and I only used 1 in the hour I used it and it still had charge left. I would suggest cleaning the tines if much gets wrapped in them to give it longer battery life and mechanical life

Works great for keeping the weeds at bay in the garden. Much more convenient than dragging out the gas powered tiller.Easy assembly. So far, it has worked perfectly for what it was designed to do. It has enough power for light cultivating of already worked up soil. Very quiet and easy to handle and operate. We have a very large garden, so one battery will not complete the job. With two batteries provided is covers most circumstances.Dewalt batteries are NOT compatible, which would have been a great bonus if they did work.

I am satisfied with this item. It's easy to operate, The depth goes as deep as I've wanted with multiple motions, The sound is as expected, Works well as intended, It's very simple to put together and operate. You will see to pics to get an idea of what the item can do. These pics are at the start of a project but does show what it can begin to do.

For the money this was a great purchase. I'm retired but always looking to make life easier. Our garden has been difficult to maintain, mainly because of weeds. Honestly, I'm surprised by the way the tiller chews through our soil. The first day I expected it would be difficult and power consuming. I was wrong, as a matter of fact 10 minutes I was done. The garden looked great, and with only a half charge on the battery. So far, we have used this remarkable tool four times.id say it's worth the purchase.

I really like this cultivator. It's easy to use and the battery lasts for a while and it has a second battery so I had no down time.Why did you pick this product vs others?:It really tills lightly unless you push and pull while working it.Ease of assembly:No problem

I’m pretty impressed with this cultivator thus far. For the price, the effort I save, and the versatility of its size, I can see many uses. This is a cultivator like the manual weasel, but easier. It will not replace your tiller, as a weasel wouldn’t either.The only thing that swayed me to go with this one, is that I have several Dewalt tools. I was looking for something compatible with those batteries. This IS NOT. Again, mislead visually ONLY. This was my fault alone. Great tool, and thus far, works well.
