This thing is a keeper!
For the money, it's a great option. Here's my thoughts.I really dislike the packaging. Surly a recycle cardboard box would make ownership start on the right foot. The plastic is designed for retail theft prevention not mail order delivery.Once unpacked it looks great futuristic and the gray color with contrasting trigger and safety grip is awesome! It'd pretty heavy for a break barrel pistol but that can help with accuracy if supported. It's not 50/50 balanced, it's front heavy. I recommend using some kind of support, be it a tripod or sandbag. The trigger is extremely heavy. I've only put 30 rounds through it and it hasn't loosened at at. Very tight. This causes me to really hang on and affects my aim.Once i sorted out the grip and support, I found it to be pretty accurate. I was able to put a couple rounds through the same place repeatedly. I'm only using pointed pellets. They work great. The break barrel effort is the best part. It's not a struggle, it's relatively easy setup. The pellet placement is also a plus. The hole has a silicone rim and holds the pellets perfectly in place.I didn't mind the front site being gray. I used white nail polish and it looks really good. I considered using a similar color as the rest of the red on the safety and trigger, but, i had white. If I come across red nail polish, I'll give it a shot!Lastly, i found the soeed really fast. I don't have a ballistic chronograph, but it seems just as fast as my other pistols on the same location. Along with this I must say this is also the loudest of my pistols. In summary, it's a great way to get started and it should be very reliable. Looks great, works great and will definitely help train or advance your skills.

Good value for the price
I found standard Crosman 7.4gr pointed pellets fit a little loose in the chamber and shot to the left. Heavier Crosman 10.4gr Domed Ultra Magnum had a snug fit and shot straight. H&N 7.25gr Terminator hollow points also fit snug and shot straight. Trigger pull is very hard, making it difficult to shoot initially. Takes some getting used to. Breaking the barrel is easy and smooth. It features non-adjustable open sights. Adults with large hands should find the grip comfortable and trigger easier to manage. Children or adults with small hands like myself may find the trigger a bit hard. I like the manual and grip safety feature. Overall it’s a good value for the price I paid. Not a target pistol, but a decent plinker at 7 yards. This pistol is huge. Umarex should make a version with an optional buttstock attatchment. Decent power and fun to shoot. I used Crosman 10.4gr domed Ultra Magnum pellets and shot from 7 yards for the photo

Great Budget Plinker – Just Mind the Trigger!
The Umarex MarkPoint is an extremely good air pistol for the price, perfect for casual backyard plinking or indoor target practice when you’re bored but don’t want to spend big on a professional-grade airgun.Pros:✔ Affordable & Fun – Delivers solid performance without breaking the bank.✔ Accurate Enough – Decent for casual shooting at reasonable distances.✔ Simple & Reliable – Single-shot design keeps things straightforward and low-maintenance.Cons:⚠ Stiff Trigger – The heavy pull can throw off your aim slightly, requiring extra focus to stay lined up with the sights. Not a dealbreaker for the price, but worth noting.Verdict:If you need a budget-friendly plinker to pass the time, this is a great pick. Just be prepared to work around the trigger. For the money, it’s hard to complain—4 stars for delivering exactly what you’d expect at this price point!

Umarex Markpoint is on Point!
The Umarex MarkPoint is a steal at under $35—a .177 caliber break-barrel pellet pistol that’s perfect for casual backyard plinking. It’s lightweight, easy to cock, and surprisingly accurate at 10 yards, plinking cans with ease at around 300-330 FPS with lead pellets. The build is mostly plastic but feels sturdy enough, and it’s quiet for a spring-piston gun. Still, for the price, it’s a reliable, shooter that doesn’t need CO2 or pumps—just load a pellet and go. Great for beginners or budget shooters! I have about 150 rounds through it already.

Terrible trigger
The trigger is terrible it will make you miss your targets from the force you making to pull the trigger. Not recommended

BIG BANG FOR YOUR BUCK
sweet deal, this thing is HUGE, like hand cannon sized, and packs a real punch for a spring piston

Good gun but check your barrel!
This pellet gun needed repair right out of the box/clamshell. I don't mind taking mine apart to fix it but I can imagine most would mind. The pellets coming out of this thing were deformed in a way I've never seen before so I wanted to find out why and it turns out the barrel had a rim on the inside at the danger end of the barrel squeezing the pellet on the way out. I had to remove the front of the gun and remove the barrel to run a pipe reamer in the front of it to remove the rim left by the factory and it seems fine now. The photo shows the pellets before on the left and after on the right. I forgot to take a photo of the barrel before I fixed it. The pellets are apolo air boss 7gr and I caught them in a balled up dishrag. other than that it seems like a nice gun, I have only put about 300 pellets through it so far though. it feels a lot like the benjamin trail mark 2 in the hand size wise but is much lighter. the grip is large and the trigger is hard to pull but not terrible. Cocking is pretty easy with the long barrel and it holds closed very tightly. it is reasonably accurate but the sights are hard to get used to, the rear sight has a very tall opening giving a very unique sight picture. there is nowhere to mount anything so if you want a laser or light you will have to drill or glue. It does do the "dieseling" thing so be ready for that fun smell. all in all for $35 and a small repair I'm happy with this gun, it feels like a good cheap break barrel. If no repair was needed I would have left a 5 star review for sure. The almost 2 month delivery time was weird coming from amazon.
