EDIT 5/24-2025: Bought a replacement. Been on over 150 dives and works great. This product broke after four uses. The plastic cracked by the rubber gasket. This could have been a faulty product or could have been my own user error not being careful snapping it in place. I would return it, but I’m deployed overseas and mail takes nearly a month to be delivered so it may not reach Amazon in time to be refunded. I just ordered another since it is the only option for this GoPro in hope that it works.

Worked great even in 360
The media could not be loaded. Worked great and made some awesome videos. Even worked in 360 mode. Wish it would let me upload more than one video. I used it all day and I did have to open it and wipe the inside due to a little fogging up. But that was only maybe 3 times which to me wasn't a big deal. Picture and video quality was great.

Cheap immitation waterproof housing that fails in many ways: made in China
Bottom line: cheap product that isn't compatible with handheld grip, lenses scratch easily, fogs up like crazy, and magnifies the GoPro Max's bubble effect.1) This case is not compatible with any GoPro handheld grip or tripod, including the floating GoPro handheld stick intended for use in water. In order to get them to attach, you must force them together BACKWARDS at a very awkward angle making it frustrating to use. This makes the screen face away from you so you have to constantly turn the camera around to see what setting you are on, and make sure you are actually still recording etc. You also have to hold the handheld grip at a very awkward angle to make the actual camera point straight and level.2) The front lens was scratched when it arrived or it instantly scratched after taking it out for the box. I've used GoPro cameras and several different GoPro waterproof cases for 10-15 years, and I have never had a problem with the plastic lenses scratching, even in heavy surf in Hawaii while getting tumbled into sand constantly. Whatever claim made about the quality of this lens and its scratch resistant properties is completely false.3) Fogged up almost instantly making it unusable. Those white squares do very little if anything, and they will only work once. I ended up just having to open the case, wipe the inner lenses off with water and left the camera wet inside which seemed to reduce it from fogging up the lenses. Never had to use anything like those white squares in GoPro waterproof cases and never had issues with the lenses fogging up... NEVER (Divemaster and Rescue Diver in HI). If the camera is only waterproof to 13 feet, but there is moisture inside the case, it will be forced into the camera if under pressure below 13 feet even if no extra water leaks inside the waterproof case. That is fine for snorkeling, but I would not trust this for Scuba.4) The rounded shape of the lens magnifies the bubble effect of the video a lot(!) so in order to be able to see anything (fish or coral) you have to get within 1 or 2 feet at least for it to be in focus, otherwise you will not to be able to see anything. Even larger fish are not visible unless very close, which most fish swim away long before that (crystal clear 60 foot visibility in FL Keys). Underwater housings for cameras always have a flat lens for this exact reason.

Love this when mounting on my motorcycle.
I use my GoPro on my windshield from my CBR 600RR & man, this is the real deal. Great overall quality & durability. Love it! Recommended!

Sturdy
I bought the case for using while mtb/downhill in case of falls or bumping in to branches or rocks. The case works, it protects the camera as its suppose to. The down side is once you use the camera in 360 mode, the lateral views appear "blurrer" than the rest. Honestly, in my opinion if you are not going to do a extreme sport or in any situation that you might brake you camera I wouldn't recommend it. But if you are, it's definitely worth it and it is the only sturdy case I've seen until now for the gopro max.Regarding the protective lenses that come with the gopro max, they do work - and hold on very well - and do not make the lateral views look blurry. The down side (obviously) is that they only protect the lenses and not the camera it self or the touch screen.

Good product
I love having my GoPro in this for some extra protection. Then only thing I would change is that there is no way to access the battery or change it without taking the whole thing off. Not a super big issue it’s just tedious more than anything.

Fogs too easily
I'm not loving this just yet. It tends to fog relatively quickly and once it does, it becomes somewhat useless.I have tried multiple inserts to reduce the amount of fog and yet nothing has worked great. It's still an interesting little gadget for an expensive toy and I have enjoyed it's use, for the brief time period that I have in between first taking it underwater and then it beginning to fog.
