The best I have found
This has been such a great idea in trying to keep the fly population down. Inexpensive and effective. Simple and easy to use. The only time it get's messy is when you empty the jar with lots of dead fly's and nasty, stinky water. Wear throw away gloves when you do. I've used competing products before and always come back to the Rescue brand. The jar is a one time purchase as you can buy the "refill" packets separately. Once filled with the appropriate amount of water, and the packet is put in the water, you'll pull the access top up and it will lock into place allowing the fly's to climb in, but they can't get out. Perfect. Obviously, the odor is nasty, but that's what the fly's are drawn to. So, you place it away from an outdoor seating area or grilling area. Just far enough away where the odor doesn't bother you. The fly's will find it. Easy to recommend.

Very impressed!
My wife and I are very impressed with Fly Rescue! We are using this around our horse barn, and in just 3 days the traps are completely full of flies. See the photo of the Ziploc.. I think it's well over a thousand flies. While the smell is definitely strong and unpleasant when standing nearby (as you'd expect from something that captures so many flies), the results speak for themselves. If you're looking for a quick and efficient way to deal with a fly infestation, these traps are the way to go. Sturdy construction, great price point, easy to refill.. They work exactly as promised and have made a huge difference in the barn. Highly recommend!

Smell really bad
Great product, but the smell was so strong it invited more flys to my place. But it is a great product.

100000/10 Recommend
Y'all... These fly traps don't play... AT ALL!!! Somehow flies kept getting inside my house so we put these suckers on the porch right outside the house... There's like 100 flies in each container after 2 weeks. Absolutely no flies indoors at all anymore. The only downside is the smell (zoo-like) but it's right outside my door and I can't smell it from inside my house at all. 1000000/10 recommend

Wonderful!!!
I have used thia type for years. It does the job but feels up fast and it lasts. There is a horrible smell for sure but that is to be expected it draws the flys in and kills them. Will order again this summer.

A simple solution for attracting huge numbers of flies - but do be ready (and careful) to...
First off, I gave this product 5 stars - as it's a very simple device. Nothing complicated about it at all, and damn....do these enclosures ever attract flies. I chose this particular product (the rounded plastic containers - package of 3) because I tried the other disposable versions in the past. This way you can renew and clean the plastic containers from time to time. Now, even though I am telling all of you that these things work and I highly recommend them, if you are going to place these outside (like I did on the patio - all 3 of them to be exact), these containers fill quickly with dead flies. In fact, within a week to 10 days, my 3 containers were completely black (meaning that the water filled with dead flies in what seems no time at all). But here's the clincher - you must (I repeat "must") change and clean these containers every 10 days or so (if they are outside) because the heat of the sun will cook the water and flies and the subsequent stench is nothing short of putrid garbage and/or rotten flesh. The first time we set them up (used all 3 of them on the patio), we were stunned to see the amount of flies trying to get in those things. And after a week to 10 days, we began noticing very putrid smells coming from our patio, and we couldn't figure out what it is. Finally, I picked up one of the containers and the stench made me realize that it was coming from those containers. So I cleaned them out, dumping the flies into the woods next to our home, then washing out the containers with a garden hose. I then set them back up again.Another thing you should realize is that you should NOT have to use one of those food packets per container. In fact, take one packet and empty 1/3rd of it into each container - save money because you get the same effect and potency. Because if you check the prices on Amazon (and elsewhere), just an order of 2 or 3 replacement packets (with food powder), costs anywhere from $9.95 to $15. You can also use food items you have in your home to add to fresh water. For example, I got a tablespoon measuring spoon and used sour cream seasoning powder, and put one tablespoon of it into each container - with the same effect, as the flies continued to be attracted to the containers. So yes, I highly, highly recommend these. You wouldn't put these inside though because that would be overkill. But if you have issues with flies in the heat of the day on your patios, this is it. As I alluded to, we placed all 3 containers on our patio area, spaced apart quite well. But don't think you can just forget them. So check (and smell) them after a week or so (10 days max) to change out and clean the containers to avoid that most horrible putrid smell of thousands of dead flies cooking inside during the heat of the day.I'm just so surprised that I hadn't used these devices earlier - like beginning years ago. You know that when things heat up, the hotter it gets outside (in particular, in dry heat), those conditions bring out waves of flies and they can drive you batty. Help in keeping those numbers down with these devices.
