I like how strong the neck of this thing is. It feels very secure and I know the weight of teh tablet wont make it slowly droop to the floor.The grips that hold the tablet on are nice and secure as well. I don't worry about those at all, but the ball grip connection that locks the tablet holder to the neck is not strong. It's pretty easy to pop the tablet holder off the neck even when the cap is in place.The clamp works really well to hold it onto my treadmill. I was able to get it attached pretty tight.I wish the neck was maybe a 1-2 feet longer because to find a good place to attach it to my treadmill it has to sit lower on the machine my tablet is to the side instead of straight ahead of me, which I don't like much.

I just ordered this thing last week and it's just about perfect for holding an iPad or any other slim digital device for reading or watching video or whatever else you might want to do with a tablet. So far I have mainly used it to watch Hulu and Netflix, (holding up an iPad to watch tv shows and movies is just not fun). I also discovered that it works great in the kitchen to hold a phone or tablet to read recipes while cooking. I think it's the best accessory for my iPad that I have purchased in the 2 years I've had it. I do think that the clamp end could be a bit sturdier and the neck cold be a little stiffer, but that said for $20 it's just about perfect.

Just received unit and put my iPad mini in it. First impressions: packaging is sort of cheap, no documentation whatsoever. Albeit, when I pulled the neck out I was impressed by the quality, but cannot say the same about the mounting bracket - it's a cheap white plastic frame that fastens to a metal knob. Overall not a bad unit, had some cons though.

Don't do it. The arm is metal, the holder is plastic. The holder attaches to a metal ball bearing tip of the arm, and since its plastic, there is no friction that keeps the holder exactly as you want it. You're going to have to position the arm to get your angle, and if you try to maneuver the holder itself, the chances of it just coming off are more likely than you could image. Take a look at the picture, you're holding the plastic against the metal with a screwing piece that no matter how tight you turn it, it just won't hold against the metal. DONT BUY THIS.

great if you do not constantly take the table off....the joint where the holder meets the goose neck is weak...so far holding up

Don't buy this, it does not hold very well

Put the head on my DJI Phantom controller and it holds my ipad mini perfectly. Easily replaces the little iPhone clamp that comes with the Phantom controller. The iPhone clamp fits back on the flexible rod and makes it a handy selfie extension.

Great for the price and does the job
