Hillsdale Furniture Saddle Backless, Rustic Gray Bar Stool

I was initially happy with this purchase. But after 6 months, all 5 of my chairs are busted. Now what the hell am I supposed to do? I paid a lot of money for these chairs. I would like my money back so I can buy a product that is made of something other than 1/8 inch pressed board. That's all that is supporting your ass. Seller needs to contact me. I'm extremely upset.

If you're hesitant to buy this - do it. Absolutely fantastic quality and really easy to assemble. They are fantastic quality on both the legs and the cushion and very comfortable when sitting on over a long period of time. Highly recommended

Instructions and all the equipment was included. The instructions were extremely easy and not hard at all to put together yourself. I'm 81 and had no problems putting the bar stool together.

I love the design and comfortable bar stool, however ,the base made was made from hardened paper, one by one broke after 3 months of usage.

The assembly was straightforward and easy. However, the screws that held the crossbars in place did not tighten enough to secure them in place resulting in the overall stool to rock/sway as it was sat upon. It was a matter of time before it gave way and collapsed.I needed a comfortable stool to perform my work. So, rather than send back this item my husband added two pieces of wood to shore up this wobble stool.

After sitting on them for maybe a month, you will hear a pop. Turn the chair over and you will see the thin plywood base has cracked (see photo). In order to get a refund, Amazon expects me to disassemble, buy boxes, and ship back. (Amazon would provide the shipping label.) When I get defective merchandise from Wal-Mart they will take it back at the nearest store assembled, no questions asked. Shopping at Wal-Mart next time.

We really liked the look of these stools. Every month or so they need some tightening up. One of our stools is really solid and still working. Our other stool no matter how much we tighten does not stay sturdy. If we had a replacement part we might be able to fix it as we think the leg that the board was screwed into by the manufacturer wasn't fixed appropriately to the base of the seat.

Sturdy! Easy assembly! WOW! These compare to high end- super pricey bar stools I was looking at. My husband was even shocked they were under $40/piece!
