Wonderful peel pads
6/20/18 this Peel is amazing .i was skeptical at first on how even my skin was gonna be . and when I applied it I knew this peel was serious lolll it’s strong be careful using it I felt in love then . A chemical peel is very new to me only use it my 3rd times I look forw@rd to see more results as time goes by ... I have acne pitted scars due to hormonal acne ; so my doctor prescribed me tretenoin cream, adapelene, cladamicyn benzoyl peroxide of course I rotate them all different nights it’s been a year my skin never been better .. am in mY mid 40s and was upset over how my skin just change but now it’s better.. although my few pitted scars are very flat now they don’t bother me as much anymore . I won’t be going for those expensive laser treatements, I will be using this light peel in conjunction with my prescriptions and am a very happy customer .12/3/18 . Update with this peel I am more than content with this peel than anything I built enough tolorence to leave it for 7 minutes while face frost and I peel for 7 days so when I don’t want a deep peel I leave it for 30 seconds yes this is a serious peel no false advertising here it’s really 15% gly 15% tca and 3% mandelic for real . It took me few months to be able to fully leave it on for 7 minutes I love it .as a dark skin woman that’s a perfect way for me to use tca without the consequences ..I now have a couple of pads i will be buying another jar again soon refuse to be without this it’s exalcy like the perfect image revitaboost for half the price ,Love it .

Highly recommend
I have been using these peel pads for over a year, absolutely love them, and just reordered. So this review is long overdue. The pH was not provided, so I tested with litmus paper which indicated a pH somewhere around 1 - 2, meaning it is extremely acidic--a potency normally reserved exclusively for professionals! (See attached pic.) To better explain, each number on the pH scale represents a factor of 10, so a product formulated with a pH of 2 is 10 times more acidic (and potent) than a product with a pH of 3. Most peels for home use are "buffered", by increasing the pH to between 3 - 4. Buffering slows down the process, to make them safer for home use, but also renders them far less effective. Pretty much ALL those $90-$100+ peel products sold at Sephora and other beauty/department stores are buffered, and can not begin to match the power and effectiveness of these pads. They don't even come close. These pads are professionally formulated for professional results, use with caution!Yes, these peel pads appear to have the exact same formulation as the Revitaboost peel pads, which I've used, along with a number of other "Perfect Image" products, all of which are excellent. If you've never used a peel before, I highly advise starting out with the "Perfect Image Sample Pack", and working your way up, to become acclimated to chemical peel products first. To give a better idea of how potent/powerful this product is, 15% TCA is roughly the equivalent of 60% glycolic acid, which has been bumped up further by adding an additional 15% glycol acid, plus 3% mandelic acid. Now, combined with the extremely acidic, low pH, this is one powerful peel -- yes, it's going to sting.Prior to using, it is essential to not only first cleanse your face, but also, using a cotton pad, wipe it thoroughly with alcohol or acetone -- to "degrease" and remove all oil from your skin. First time, you probably should not leave it on more than a minute before "neutralizing" to end the process --which raises the pH, so it is no longer acidic. I use plain water (pH 7), but you can add baking powder, which has a slightly higher pH (around 8.1), but I find water works just fine. The first time, I wouldn't recommend going more than a minute before neutralizing, gradually increasing the amount of time each successive peel. I've been using peels for years. Every couple weeks, I go for a lighter "lunchtime" peel. One layer, 5 - 7 minutes before neutralizing. The sting is minimal, no downtime, flaking is minimal so I can go out in public without feeling self-conscious. The results from a single layer for 5 minutes are fairly decent, but not too dramatic. You can achieve truly dramatic results by by layering the peel and increasing the length of time you leave it on before neutralizing. But along with greater results, there's some "downtime". During that time, your skin will look a whole worse before it looks better, the older, dull upper layers of skin noticeably peel off your face, before finally revealing all that fresh, smooth, bright, younger-looking skin lying beneath. So there's about 3-4 days when my skin looks far too hideous to go out in public, so I only layer a couple times a year, when I can hide inside the house. To layer, apply the peel with pad, wait 2 minutes, and then, without neutralizing and using the same pad, I go over my face a second time. For a 3rd layer, I get a fresh pad, wait a couple more minutes, and again, without neutralizing, go right over the first 2 layers; up to a max. of 5 layers, 20 minutes. By the 3rd layer, the "sting" starts getting intense, the 4th is almost unbearable! I've only gone to 5 layers once, and would describe it as "hell fire"' but the results were nothing short of amazing! There are several ways to reduce the "sting". 1). Use a fan or hair dryer on the "cool" setting, 2) take a couple of pain killers, such as Ibuprofen or Tylenol about 1/2 hour before applying, 3). First, apply a numbing product with lidocaine, wait approx. 15 minutes, wash off, degrease skin, and then immediately apply peel. Each layer increases the potency of the peel by about 25%, so the second layer increases the potency of 15% TCA, to 18.75%, calculated as follows: 15% TCA X 25% = 3.75% + 15% =18.75% TCA.However, a with series of light peels (5-6) over a short time period should be able to achieve roughly the same results as a deeper, layered peel.Highly recommend.

decent price and an effective skin care product! And less expensive than Revitaboost
These peel pads are wonderful for my aging skin! I'm used to using acids over the years, doing at-home glycolic peels and TCA peels occasionally (and have had them done at dermatologists' offices as well) but with these great options for use at home, and the incredible cost savings it offers, I simply do these myself now. This product is reasonably priced and has some good, effective acids in it. I'd be cautious, though, if you're new to acids.I started with leaving product on for about 1 to 1 1/2 minutes the first two times I used this, and now I've worked up to 3 to 4 minutes, once or twice a week and I rinse my face with cool-to-cold water for at least a full minute to neutralize the acids. There's no down time for me - my skin may get slightly flaky in areas, but it doesn't peel and doesn't turn red, although it may have a slight (very subtle) flushed appearance for about 24 hours. And my skin feels tighter during those 24 hours, which is not at all uncomfortable! These peel pads look to have the same acids, with the same strengths, as the Perfect Image Revitaboost Peel Pads Level 2. I highly recommend both products, but this Emolent brand is much more cost-effective @ $.69/pad, with Revitaboost having increased to about @ $1.26/pad now.

Easy to use
These pads are very similar to another peel pad that I loved, but became too expensive. I use one pad a week, wiping it on my face and chest shortly before stepping into the shower. Previously, I found that I preferred a medium-light peel that did not cause unsightly flaking. With these pads, you can easily adjust the depth of the peel by modifying time and/or layering. My only complaint is that the pads seem slightly dry.

Amazing Peel!
I get a better peel from these that the 70% glycolic I was using. I was diagnosed with vitiligo (loss of pigment), although I think the white spots are from acne scars. This product is helping tremendously!

Great Product
LOVE This product, I left it on for only for 1 minute, then rinse my face with really cold water. Yes it burns so if you have really sensitive skin please rinse sooner. My skin started to peel 3 days after. Moisturize...Moisturize...Moisturize. I used Rose Hip Oil, but use whatever moisturizer works best for you.... Yes I will buy again.

A+ great outcome, not too extreme
A+ great outcome, not too extreme. I'm use to 30% tca for my face, however, this didn't have the downtime, it had a nice even light/medium peel something i was looking for for my chest, yet also worked well on my neck face area. Highly recommend to even allover skin tone.
