Philippians: Living for Christ (Flourish Bible Study)

Great workbook. Highly recommended.

This was the best study I’ve done on Philippians! It is rich in theological truth yet incredibly comprehensible. It is full of Scripture sources to further explain Paul’s writings, the study has you in the Bible flipping to other books, actually s t u d y i n g! The question prompts are terrific and truly helpful. A couple times things clicked for me that never had before. I can truly say I’m completing this study having grown in my faith. This writer is clearly anointed in her gifting of articulating spiritual truths. Worth noting is the fact that the study is lovely + well designed. Will be purchasing other Flourish Bible Studies by Lydia Brownback.

Rather than spoon feeding the student what they should take from Scripture, this study provides the background and context and then pelts the reader with relevant and often profound questions. You learn the depths of God's Word, then also learn to apply it to your own life through considering how it connects with your experience. I thought this was an excellent study and not to mention a well-crafted layout and design. Highly recommended.

This is the fourth Bible study book by Lydia Brownback that I've done. I found her series of books last year and am so glad I did. I am planning on doing all of them!
