I've had this battery for a few months. I was elated that my Dyson finally worked again, but as other customers have mentioned, it's very short lived. Lasted a couple of weeks and then dwindled down to nothing. The Amazon return window is 30 days so by the time it was no longer useful I had to chalk it up to a waste of money spent. I'd just go to directly to Dyson and spend the money on a brand new battery. Shouldn't have to bc my vacuum is 2.5 years old, but it's better than wasting more money.

This replacement battery worked great the first time I used it. The next day after recharging it a full 24 hours, it ran for approximately two minutes and shut off. I put it back on the charger. If I have the same experience upon the next use, I will be returning it. UPDATE: After charging the battery a few subsequent times and making sure the charging cord was pushed firmly in place, the battery seems to be working as advertised; therefore I am increasing my rating one star. I would give it four stars now if not for the aggravation and time it took me to resolve the issue.

I think the battery itself is fine. But I believe it does not fit perfectly into the Dyson recharger. Thus my Dyson is not charged half the time I want to use it. And there is no way to tell if it is charging. The lights don't help. (It seems to work better if you remove the vacuum wand while recharging. Perhaps the wand adds too much weight and pulls the battery down.)

The battery life is not as good as the original (lasts maybe 10 minutes) and has some serious charging issues. It’s a fraction of the price that the manufacturer changes for a replacement battery, but it's a fraction of the quality.

Occasionally will not charge correctly. I have to really move my vacuum around on the charger to see it light up and even then when I pull my vacuum off of the charger it will work for 5 seconds and then die. I will then plug it back in and let it charge up again and everything will work the next time I try and use it.

Worked perfectly right out of the box, seems to be of good assembly quality, recommended.

Lasted for 2.5 years. Not bad.

I purchased this battery to replace the OEM battery for my Dyson vacuum. When the battery arrived, I plugged the battery in, and let it charge for 24 hours. The first time I used my Dyson it worked great and the battery lasted approximately 25 minutes. I then plugged the battery in and it charged over night. The next day I started vacuuming and after 30 seconds the vacuum stopped and the battery blinked a red light. I started walking to the laundry room to plug the Dyson in and the unit started to work again. After vacuuming for two minutes the battery started blinking a yellow light.This battery is garbage. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. Stay with the OEM battery from Dyson.
