NOT Healthy for your lungs and not really sustainable-a bit of a bait&Switch
Tried to find a less toxic laundry detergent, after a lot of reading, I pulled the trigger on Meliora. As 1 buyer mentioned, the issue is that no matter HOW careful you try to be, laundry dust kicks up in the air and gets into your mouth & nose when you open the can and when your scooping. They also mentioned, hold your breath; I tried that. Holding your breath does not work because it lingers in the air so long; you can't possibly hold your breath. Then, even when your scooping it will get into your nose, try holding your nose closed while your scooping laundry soap! Never had this issue with good old powder Tide back in the day or others (unless ya really just went tah town on the box). So, good for the environment, but for the person who paid for it? Lung cancer or other lung issues for you and you and you! As for cleaning, I never felt like it did much of anything. We don't have a lot of stains. But I never felt like oh yeah our clothes are super clean. For those who want to save the environment by supporting this brand, guess again. They've swapped up how they operate-their bulk sizes, and those of us who invested in them to get sustainable refills were given the shaft. If you want a deal, you have to buy 16 YEARS worth of laundry soap (HEwasher@3loads/wk.). A hair over SIXTEEN YEARS! TWENTYFOUR YEARS WORTH of soap w/ a HE manchine @ 2 loads per week! INSANE! If not, then forget you, and pay more! (Yes, all prices on everything has gone up, I'm referring to the cost savings between sizes). Because I don't want DECADES worth of laundry soap, I asked if they could split a container up ship 2 myself and a family member, and that I would pay the shipping. Nope, whole powdery buckets of nope! How is it more environmentally friendly to ship the same product twice? Yes, 2 shipments either way; but now I have to drive to the UPS-making it less sustainable. ANNNNND, what's crazy is that NO ONE knows what is going to happen to this soap years down the road, when it never gets used, just dumped in landfill? when ya find out somehow someway it's went bad? Issue is NOT with the enormous size, it's that they took away the medium bulk size. Why did I stick with them despite the risk to our family health? Because these are tiring days, and looking for real products that really work is really hard nowadays as everyone is either selling toxic products or scamming. P.S. they're really trying to drive away ordering via amazon, and guiding folks to their site; even offering a subscribe and save for a product that will last anywhere from 5 to 24 YEARS! How much sense does that make? Once again making it less sustainable; because I could order a bunch of different stuff on Amazon in 1 trip, 1 website, 1payment transaction. Instead go to their site, use more electricity, time, more financial transactions, more delivery trips. Doesn't sound very sustainable to me! But it does drive ppl to buying the smallest container and paying a higher price. 5 gallon bucket of laundry soap might be good for a huge family, but that doesn't mean you should ax out your mid-range customer. This is literally us subsidizing the heavy users. Don't offer the mid-size bulk, just offer the smallest size, highest price, only put the smallest size/highest price on the amazon (where most ppl will find the product); then on their own site-offer the great deals for a lifetime supply of soap. Who's ACTUALLY paying for the discount given to those who purchase a lifetime supply that's in reality NOT sustainable? Yeah the rest of us are... why take away the average household medium size! Their answer? buy 4 bags and pour it into your can. ARE YOU JOKING ME? I'd have to get a respirator and clear the house for a day, and STILL not receive the price break! I just cannot support these people in any way shape or form. P.S. I speak so much about the sustainability because this is a huge part of what they claim they stand for; when truth is, they're not acting it! Long review, because I am exhausted of scammers scamming; making things complicated for hard-working folks. People really need to know what these products and sellers are about so they can make a fully-informed purchasing decision.

Cleans clothes and clean ingredients
So happy to have found these laundry products. I have allergies and ezcema and this Meliora is simple and clean ingredients. Cleans clothes perfectly and safely. Love the stain stick as well. Worth the extra money for these products and not have cancer causing toxins that are found in most detergents.
