Great product, 2 mos in
These worked with no problem, directions on package were clear and they’re still holding up my 7 lb plant containers 2 Months later.

50/50
Well I purchased 2 and 1 was fine. The other snapped on installation. I’ve used other brands that offer this kind of hook and it’s been fine but they are harder to find at the hardware store. That’s why I purchased these. I don’t think something that promises to hold up to 60lbs should break upon entering drywall. I didn’t hit a stud so I know that wasn’t the issue. I would say you have a 50/50 chance that your hook will work.

Easy install
This worked perfectly for handling a plant from the ceiling that is roughly 10 lbs. It was very easy to install.

Utter garbage from start to finish
The first one I tried to install sheared off as I was attempting to screw it into the ceiling. No warning, didn't even take that much force, just felt like a little resistance, and suddenly *SNAP*, and it was busted. I really need an anchor in the ceiling, so I tried again with a second one as I don't really see many other options, and it looked like it would work well enough if I could at least get it seated, and my local hardware store is completely out of this type of anchor. Got it into the ceiling this time after pre-drilling a hole, success I thought! Slid the hook onto the mount, and there's a disturbing amount of play between the hook and the anchor, it's definitely not a snug fit. I'm not convinced at all that it's gonna hold up to any kind of significant weight given that it's rated at 90lbs. At least if it does fail, it looks like it's mostly like the plate will shear off and the hook will come loose without ripping a giant hole in the ceiling. Is that worth something? Not really. The entire construction of this thing feels very cheap; and it's 1/10th the price at your local hardware store IF they carry it. This item is a rip off at best if it works for your application, and at worst highly dangerous. Would not recommend; find a better anchor.

Great sturdy hook for hanging house plants
Nice easy installation. The two piece install with the hook sliding over the base is smart! We used this to hang a fairly large plant by our window. I trust the weight and install of this hook compared to others

very sturdy
I can't really hung anything on the walls or ceiling without risking it to fall down. This hook is perfect.

Not impressed!
I wouldn't put anything heavy on these....thats for sure!! They pull right back out of the ceiling. I can not tell if the "cross bar" did what it was supposed to but after I put it in I gave it a slight tug to make sure everything was OK and it started to come out. I didn't want to pull on it any harder for fear of having yet another large hole in my ceiling. They are good enough for what I am using them for but as I said...I am not so sure I would trust anything heavy. I also want to add that this is a replacement hook as the first one fell apart during installation. The metal actually split wide open and some of the pieces are still up in my ceiling.Upon further thought I think that there is too much space between where the "cross bar" comes down and the round white metal bracket that you put the hook on. So it is not flush up against the ceiling. At least I am hoping so or I may find my lights on the floor one day!!

Worked As Expected
Needed this to hang my baby mobile from the ceiling. Mobile is light and this worked great, It will definitely hold more weight than what I am using it for.
