Get the board book version for younger babies!
I got this book for my 11 month old baby. She started signing back recently and this is a perfect book to read together with her to practice more signs. The quality of the board book is excellent and it will surely last longer than the regular paperback. One thing to note, the board book version has 24 signs instead of 40 signs like the paperback version. I think 24 signs are still plenty to read through with a baby or a toddler. And this book has a lot more signs than other baby sign language board books. Highly recommend!

Cute book for baby signs!
Really cute book! I bought the board book version and it feels sturdy, though the pages are on the thin side. Even though it's an instructional book for learning the signs it actually can read like a story a little where you practice with your little one. It's simple and exactly what I was looking for.

Perfect Gift – Accurate, Easy-to-Use Baby Sign Language Book!
I bought this baby sign language book as a gift for a new parent, and I couldn’t be happier with the choice! As a signer, I can confidently say this book is an amazing resource. The book is accurate in its depictions of signs, which is essential when teaching babies. As someone who signs, I appreciate how well the signs are presented. The illustrations are clear and easy to understand, and the descriptions of each sign are simple but accurate. The book makes it easy to ensure that you're teaching the signs correctly, which is so important when you want your baby to communicate effectively. One of the best things about this book is how easy it is to use. Each sign is broken down in a way that's simple to follow, with visual step-by-step instructions that guide you through the motions. The book is well-organized, and it’s perfect for busy parents who want to incorporate sign language into their daily routine without feeling overwhelmed. The signs included are practical, such as "milk," "more," "all done," and "please," making it easy to teach your baby signs that they'll actually use right away. And the results are truly amazing. Even before they can speak, babies can start communicating with signs. This book makes it possible to start teaching babies these basic signs from as early as a months old, helping to reduce frustration and enhance connection.Overall, this book is a fantastic gift for any parent looking to start their baby on the path of early communication. It’s accurate, easy to use, and empowers babies to communicate long before they develop the ability to speak. I highly recommend this book for new parents, caregivers, or anyone who wants to introduce their baby to the beautiful world of sign language. It’s a thoughtful and valuable gift that will make a real difference in both the parent-child bond and the baby’s ability to communicate effectively!

love this book!
has lots of different signs for LO's to learn and for parents to teach! love this, because i want my LO to be able to communicate if he's not able to tell me things yet because he doesnt know how to say them. the pictures are very clear and the book is a hard back but it's very thin so it's easy to carry around and is small so the LO can turn pages if necessary

Buy one now!
The only thing I dislike (and deducted a star because of it) is the packaging. I would've appreciated a bit of plastic wrap. It came in a plastic bag slightly bent by the other heavier items in the bag. Thankfully it left no serious crease.I love it tho! It's colorful with soft pages and great illustrations. I know it'll be useful for years to come! Its less than five bucks too!! I haven't shared it with my babies yet or started to teach them but this book makes things easier. I can tell with the detailed have gestures pictures. And the alphabet glossary in the back is awesome. I think it's great for adults who want to learn too

Great for nonverbal kids
My son is nonverbal and in speech therapy. We’ve noticed he’s picking up nicely on some hand signs so wanted to try out a book. I got this to help myself learn the basic needs for him and it’s going very well. He can now atleast communicate some needs with sign language and me encouraging it now that I know these too. Get the book!
