I’ve been using my rosin that came with my violin ever since I got it. As soon as I applied the magic rosin, the tone was better, it didn’t squeak crossing strings, and it made the sound less shaky.

No dust at all! I couldn’t believe it. It also lasts a while too, so I don’t have to reapply it very often. Great price. Love the container. I don’t have to handle it at all as it’s built onto the screw top jar. The bonus is that it’s cute & sparkly. I didn’t expect it to be a great rosin, but it really is awesome.

Just got back into Cello and Violin, was nos not aware of this product, really good find.

I purchased this for my daughter. The day she got, she dropped it on the carpet accidentally, and when she opened it up it had detached from the “shattered glass” backing and also broken in half. I have purchased several of these over the past year as our cello teacher recommended them for being long lasting and durable. I don’t know if something changed with the manufacturing, but none of the others have done this and all have been dropped multiple times. I was very disappointed as was my daughter. When you pay nearly $20 for something you don’t expect that quality…

I love magic rosin, I've been playing my violin for over 20 years now and this has become one of my favorite products. As a musician who plays at multiple outdoor venues I'm pleased with the lack of residue it leaves on my instrument. Usually other products will become sticky once the mist begins to set at night. Creating a rough, scratchy tone. With Magic Rosin I have not come across that issue and will continue to use their product.

This is a good quality rosin. Unlike the other brands I've used, you don't need to score this one with a coin first to make it easier to use. And I can definitely feel that it is a more "grippy" rosin like the manufacturer's website says.Just one complaint though. I could definitely tell that this was smaller than other brands of rosin I have used...and I imagine that once this is used enough to where only the small bit on the bottom of the case is left, you won't actually be able to use it since the sides of the case will prevent your bow from getting to it. However, I would still recommend this rosin as those are only minor issues. Next time though, I think I will just buy blems directly from magicrosin.com since a few dollars more would get me the larger size. For the amount you are getting on amazon, I think $15 is a bit overpriced.

Not coloured at all unless there's colours near to hand that can reflect in it. Very pale show.
