47"/120cm Octagon Softbox, MOUNTDOG Umbrella Speedlite Softbox with Bowens Mount Speedring, Studio Flash Reflector Speedlight Umbrella Softbox with Carrying Bag

It took two tries to receive this item, as the first arrived damaged. As per usual, Amazon promptly replaced it.The Bowens mount is a good fit on the  Godox SL-60 . The umbrella is secured to the frame and light is isolated by two velcro strips on either side of the umbrella, which is of a good weight. The white softbox effect is achieved by two pieces of white muslin-like fabric. The inner fabric is held in place with clips and elastic, that I do have some concern about their life over time; but thus far are functioning well.The carrying bag is appropriately sized, and I am confident that with careful use (not throwing it around too much) it will properly keep the umbrella softbox safe from rips, snags, and tears.The inner umbrella frame appears to be pot metal, so some care should be taken not to drop it or treat it too roughly.I will update with further use, but thus far it appears to be a good value for the price.

When this arrived it was missing the internal and external diffuser panels, so all I have a is a big silver reflector. I really like the easy-open design, which makes location work much easier (easy to pack, easy to set up). I do struggle with getting the mechanism to find and engage on the catch - it normally takes several attempts - and there is a lot of tension on the umbrella at that point - so I recommend keeping it off the light - put the speed ring on the ground, and push down to get leverage. I've taken several photos that I hope will be helpful to other shoppers.

it's a 47" octabox. so it does look very big and you need a c stand with a counter weight to actually make it stand without additional crew. however, if you think of it from my perspective, that's how it works in my world of photographer for such a big octabox.It is compatible with my bowen s mount and takes only seconds to fit it in. the quality of the light is really good. the images are stunning. For the cost of money i paid, i am already getting my earnings back.

Easy to open and set up, but the defuser doesn't attach, just sits on it. So unless you're only shooting with it flat or up, your filter will fall off.

its very heavy and pulls down on my light and not easy to put together with one Person or i would have given it 5 stars.

it broke less than 2 times use!

Within the first 30 minutes of using this octabox, two of the the elastic bands that hold the inner diffuser panel in place came detached from the outer shell. I can no longer use the inner diffuser panel. It seems there is way too much tension on these straps causing them to break almost immediately.

Very happy with this softbox, easy to assemble and connect to my strobe. Great quality and feels very sturdy. Distributes light evenly, I’m considering purchasing a couple more to replace some old soft boxes.
