My only complaint about this is that you cannot adjust the motion detection. It detects motion from cars down at the street, and gives a notification of this nonstop. I wish I could adjust the motion detection down to a couple of feet from the door.Other than that, this unit is pretty good. The set up is easy. There is a bracket that screws to a wall or the door frame. In my case, I could only screw it to the door frame because I live in a condo, and the wall is a common wall. That meant I could only use the two left screw holes. It is very secure despite only using two out of four screw holes. You download the LiveHome app. Set up is easy, you need to remove tape from the batteries before installing. You download the app, insert your identifying data, take a photo of the code that is included in the instructions, choose a user name and password, and insert your WiFi code from your Internet. It gives notifications of motion at the door and who has rung the doorbell. It videotapes anyone who rings the doorbell. You can share this information, save it or delete it. You can also access live video of the door in case you are looking for something in particular. It also shows you how much battery life is left.Overall, it is great, but, I need to dial down the motion monitoring to no more than a couple of feet from my door.

Update 20220819: support tod me I now have to buy cloud storage at $299.99/year. The cloud storage is too expensive. It should not cost more than a 128GB SD card which is about 2 weeks of storage for $10. I used to be able to access my recordings without cloud storage subscription. Suddenly having to by cloud makes the doorbell too expensive.Update 20220818: I had to re-add my doorbell to the Aiwit app. Now it is insisting on using cloud storage. I have a local SDcard and do not want cloud storage for $29.99/yr. How to fix?Update: The first week it was great. However now the PRI sensor even at the lowest setting is having a lot of false positives. Sometimes it’s a fly or a bird or a spider but sometimes I can’t figure out anything. So that’s kind of disappointing I have docked at one star.Originally: I love it. I had another doorbell like this before from another company and it did not work well. Huge number of false positives. Wasted my time.But this one is perfect. Setup was super easy. I did the setup near my WiFi repeater so I would have a known good signal. Didn't need to even consult the manual. Once I had tested all the features there and paired the chime I put the chime plugged in to an outlet in the room where I wanted that and took the doorbell outside to my front door which is several concrete walls and about 40' away from the router. I retested and everything worked great. Then I screwed the back plate to the door frame, clipped the doorbell in place, set the security screw and all is well.A big issue with these sorts of things are false positives. This unit only triggers the motion detection when someone is actually on my door steps or porch - perfect. It doesn't trigger at all if I move around further out on my driveway. I have it set for the fastest/most sensitive motion detection setting.That one above I setup for my farm's butcher shop front door. I'm going to get one for the front gate, back door and my house front door too.Highly recommended.

The best thing to know about this product is that it IS NOT A SECURITY SURVEILLANCE CAMERA. This product is only a doorbell camera. It has a secondary function that will detect motion and alert you via the LiveHome app, but this function is not very good because of a significant detection delay from the time of movement to the time the camera activates and begins to record. You will not capture a porch pirate's face with this product. You may catch them running away - the motion detection delay is that long. So again, do not expect a strong security function from this product. The doorbell camera function of this product, however, is great. When someone comes to your door while you are away from home and rings the doorbell, you will see that this product has a great two way talk function, and a sharp picture both in day light and dark via the LiveHome app. The product is only as good as your internet connection and common sense ability to use a basic phone app. You should know that you will need to purchase a charger for this product separately.

My mom got one fromA company and is still paying on ic bt she had to put 70$ down and still owes about 2,000$ because she has to make monthly payments to the company that she got it from. Hers is nice but for the price of mine and the outcome of it I’m happy with it I don’t owe anything on it. It’s paid for and picks up motions in the day & night. My husband set it up for me being I have a torn meniscus In my left knee and I have to hop to the door every time someone comes. Now I can lay comfy in my bed use the app to look at whose knocking and even tell them I’m resting, sleeping, or just don’t get up at all it some one comes to visit. I’m happy with my purchase and it’s paid for. Happy wife happy life!!!!

Unit works well with WiFi. Biggest issue is the battery life. They held a charge for a couple of months at first, but after 3 charges, the charge dropped to one month, then a week now 48 hours. Requested help from customer service with no response EVER. Good device; customer service less than poor. Batteries available thru Amazon (18650).

Overall I liked this product, except for the motion detection feature. It cannot be adjusted to show motion at the door without showing motion on the street. I live on a busy street and one adjustment shows every car that passed by and the other adjustment doesn't show people coming on to my front porch. No happy medium. The picture is good and the doorbell works good.

It took quite some time for me to get the bar code to ready bar the camera so I could get it set up. The directions are not the most clear. But once it registered, everything else went quickly. Got it in installed, and there seems to a bit of lag time but I am going to see how it goes over the next month. The door doorbell itself looks good and there are many choices for ring tones.
