MOUNTDOG Octagon Softbox (32"/80cm, Black)

This honeycomb softbox is absolute value for money. I've used this softbox for some of my photoshoot over the weekend and it came out pretty well. I've used a pocket flash and this one has a zip inbuild to provide an opening for the flash strobe to enter in. the quality of the soft box and diffuser is really good and would love to get multiple quantities of them for 3 point lighting.

I did read the reviews and I have to agree with the angling issues that have been reported. With them installed the you have to kind of fight with them to get the angle correct for the lighting. I use two with speed flash and they work great but have to do several test shots to get them to cover the are I want with even lighting

They’re a great price, very rigid and performed exactly how I needed them to. I put together a nice inexpensive lighting kit including these, some neewer stands and flash mount brackets. If you’re weary about purchasing, don’t be. They’re a good buy.

I like it but I didn’t realize it required a special adapter to mount it on a light stand but it works great despite me taping it to my light

The diffuser layer did not fit the umbrella. It does the job but... it feels like you could get something better.

Used this with a speed light and it works just fine. Comes with a removable soft cloth diffuser that attaches to the soft box wit velcro. Very easy to fold and store.

Surprisingly just what I wanted. Everything is easy, produces what I wanted for my Bowen’s Mount and AD200 for small close group shots.

This is a well-made product. It was definitely a great deal for the price! Top quality.
