I have very hard water with heavy iron content and I have a water softner system as well but still get iron stains on things now and again. I use this and it helps so much. Only complaint I have is I wish it had more than 16 loads. But its worth not having rust spots on my laundry. I have used all the other powders that are cheaper in my laundry BUT because the iron content is so strong that stuff turns my water jet black even bleach turns the water jet black. Calgon DOES NOT so I Will continue to use this.

Excellent product! I have been using Calgon Water Softener for almost two decades, one of my favorite laundry additions. Great things that nowadays hasn’t changed on its effectiveness! Love, love, love it!

THIS IS ABSOLUTELY ESSENTIAL IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR LAUNDRY!..AND, IT'S HARD TO FIND IT , IN THE STORES, EVEN IF IT'S A REGULARLY STOCKED ITEM, IT'S ALWAYS SOLD OUT.

I believe that soft water is SO much better than fabric softeners. I now live in a condo so a central water softener is not possible. The only problem with this delivery — slight leakage from the containers. Not the company mailing. Calgon needs to secure their caps. The leakage was mild so I will order it again- but Calgon needs to change the container security.

So I use this to clean my grill grates.....I add a capful with DAWN in hot water & soak the grill grates. Works great!

Prevents the staining on light cotton clothing that results from using sunscreen and then washing in hard water. These are dark areas that form around the neck and arms.

I use this for getting pots and pans to clean easily, magic, soak with some detergent, non scrub pad and WAH LA! I also add a bit to laundry detergent. Great Product for many uses. Also add a squeeze right into dishwasher.

Works as it should. No more hard towels.
