Don't know what cylinder size you need?1 - Open you door & locate the cylinder fixing bolt at the side2 - Take a ruler and from the centre of the fixing bolt hole measure to the end of the outside handle (measurement A)It's very important that you make sure the outside cylinder measurement will not cause the cylinder to protrude from the handle and stick out, otherwise your cylinder could be vulnerable to lock snapping!3 - Measure from the centre of the fixing bolt hole to the end of the inside handle (measurement B)Please note - DO NOT TAKE OUT AND MEASURE YOUR CURRENT CYLINDER AS IT MAY NOT BE THE CORRECT SIZE! 4 - You will now have 2 measurements (A and B). Round up to the nearest 5mm, i.e. if measurement 'A' is 34mm, round it up to 35mm5 -Put measurements 'A' and 'B' together & this is the size cylinder you will need.Example:Measurement 'A' = 35cmMeasurement 'B' = 50cmCylinder Size Needed = 35/50 (85mm)UAP cylinders are revisable, meaning you can fit them either way round. So a 35/50 cylinder is the same as a 50/35 cylinder. Each cylinder is packed full of security features & is part of UAP's Patented anti-bump timing pin system. This clever system uses nickel hardened steel key pins & driver pins, which gives the anti-drill feature. The timing pins have inbuilt anti-picks and mushroom driver pins, which makes them highly effective against picking. The cylinders also have a sacrificial cut line on them. If force is applied to the end of the cylinder in an attempt to break it to gain access, on standard cylinders the weakest part of the cylinder (the screw hole which is in the centre of the cylinder as there is less metal here) will snap. If the UAP cylinder is broken at the sacrificial cut line, the cylinder can still be locked and unlocked with the key.
