The item arrived with the plug in cable not connected - it is a wall light to hardwire in to the wall that is sent with a separate plug, it is not ready to plug in as described. There is no hole in the plate that attaches to the wall for the plug in cable, so it is clearly not intended for this purpose.I had to get an electrician to connect it for me and when we did he got an electric shock - when he investigated he found a live wire screwed to the metal casing, meaning touching any part of the metal lamp gave an electric shock. He said he has never seen anything like it in all his years as an electrician. It is a good job it wasn’t sent with the plug connected as if it had done it could have been me or my children getting an electric shock.I’ve tried to seek a refund from the seller but getting nowhere - they suggested I asked a friend to install it for me ‘as it is very simple’.Unsafe and not as described - avoid!Would have given no stars if I could.

The quality is good and the lamp looks very nice. However, the wire needs attaching and there are no instructions on how to do this. I really don't want to go to the expense of getting an electrician in! Instructions please!

Very stylish, but sadly I had to return because the switch was so far down the flex that it would not have been possible to reach it from the bed, and it would have been behind the bedside cupboard.

Look good, easy to install

The dimmer is working only with one of the pair ... Rather disappointingGood price and nice design but the dimmer issue was not unimportant
