MAKOTO 40" Full Tang Snake-Eyes Samurai Katana Ninja Sword Replica

I am a huge Snake Eyes fan and when I saw this online I did not think twice about ordering it. This is a replica sword from the new GI Joe Movie "The Rise of Cobra" played by the character Snake Eyes. Snake Eyes is a ninja and uses his sword and he also uses guns to defeat Cobra and to defeat his brother Storm Shadow.Moving onto the sword I must say I am very impressed with this product and pleased. The blade is perfect not sharpened but of course it was being shipped so I had to be dual. The Arashikage Clan logo is on each side of the blade, they even got the serrated edges on the blade correct. I am also amazed on how the blade looks, the curve is just right and the blade looks just perfect.Moving on to the handle, now the handle and hand guard look even really great on this replica. The hand guard is a silver that looks as it was polished and looks very decent, also the handle was made from hard wood it looks like and colored black. It looks just like the handle did in the movie. I am also impressed with the bottom of the sword at the handle where they have that little extra silver piece that is also in the movie.The sheath is also very nice I think and it fits and that's all it really needs to do. The sheath appears to be made of a hard wood and it looks as it is painted black, with a glossy finish. The sheath fits perfectly over the blade and there is no extra room and it slides right on and off the blade with no problems at all. It even has a area on it where you have a strap where you can carry the sword like Snake Eyes does.In the end this sword is a perfect replica and I think that it was an excellent purchase. I got way more out of my money then what I thought I was going to get so I would like to thank the seller QSwords for selling me this amazing replica sword of Snake Eyes, also for the fast shipping, and last but not least for the great quality and service. :)

After I placed my order, I was surprised to see that it was already being packaged just ten minutes after. Very fast shipping. I bought this for my son, and he just loves it. He isn't a snake eyes fan BUT,he loves ninja's.And he happens to find snake eyes his second favorite ninja. His first is Rain. But on to the sword. It has perfect movie quality and looks exactly like the one from the movie. Its very detailed. The sedated edges are even there which i find that this was a good bargain. It came dull, but im not complaining cause its a replica. The sheath is pretty good too. But my sons asks,"How come when i take out the sword, it doesn't make the sword-draw sound?" what am i going to say to him? Anyways i highly recommend this product for all fans of snake eyes or ninja's.

In my review for the most part I'm going to be echoing what others have said, but I thought I'd provide a current review since I just received the sword yesterday.Pros: It is a full length katana, the scabbard is sturdy enough, the saw edge actually could saw through something, no structural issues on my particular sword, the blade comes oiled to protect during shipping, and it definitely looks close enough to Snake Eyes' sword for my purposes of cosplaying him.Cons: Full tang blade so the handle isn't open like the real sword, the Arashikage clan symbol is slightly crooked but not a huge issue unless you're inspecting the sword up close, the blade does not have the blood groove as pictured nor does it have the silver cap on the end of the handle.All in all, this will work for cosplaying Snake Eyes especially since the much nicer reproduction swords sold out years ago.One final note is about the length. If you are like me and using this for a costume, you know Snake Eyes carries his sword on his back. The most impractical way to carry any sword. Why? Overly difficult if not impossible to draw from that position, unless you are using a short sword. I thought maybe I had figured out a way to do it, but unless you have freakishly long arms I just don't think it's going to happen. And the Hasbro toy version of the sword (which I had already from an early idea for the costume) which is definitely shorter, is also unfortunately wider so it doesn't fit inside this sword's scabbard.

It's a nice full tang sword. Only 1 complaint. It won't stay in the sheath. Te sheath is way too large around the mouth. It's almost like the sword is missing a part above the handle that would make it fit better.

Great Replica. Flaw is only that it isn't for combat. But if you wanna be a fruit ninja throwing fruit in the air and slicing it for fun then this is perfect for it. Makes best for looks as in to put it on the wall. Not to practice sword fighting nor any type of Martial Art with it. Still happy with my purchase though. From practicing with this sword, it has bent but i always put it back it place with a hammer like nothing happened.

ok so mine arrived in 2 days so that was good and the only problem is the my handle was coming off and it was hard to put bak into place but i jus tapped it wit a hammer a couple of times and it went bak into place so thats good another thing is that when the sheath or scarrab is on i dont get the vibe tht its a snakeeyes replica sword but no biggie anyways its full tang so its durable so i highly recommend this product and no i was not paid to do this review these are my honest thoughts of the sword

This sword is perfect for replicating the snake eyes uniform, display, or form practice. Great detail, weight, and quality. It comes unsharpened, so buy a sharpening set if you want.

I ordered this sword and I have to say, it is the best sword. If you are a big snake fan this sword will open your eyes. It is well crafted, the blade its self is good, everything is good with this sword. It is very light, but the sheath is cheap, but well made. I highly recommend this sword.
