A Great Stand for the Money
This stand does a good job of holding my iPhone 6. It is about 3/8" narrower than the 6 with a Spigen case on it. There are nice, grippy rubber pads on the bottom of the stand to protect furniture and to keep the stand from sliding around if you are using the phone while it is in the stand. The V-groove where the bottom of the phone sits also has rubber pads to protect the bottom edge of the phone. I did add two small, round rubber pads at the top edge of the stand where it contacts the back of the phone to made sure my painted case does not get scratched (this is a non-issue if you have a case with a soft rubber back). The V-bend that the bottom edge of the phone rests in is a much sharper bend than it needs to be (a 90 degree bend would have been ideal, but it appears to be about a 60 degree bend). If you use a very thick phone case like an OtterBox, it will not rest down in the V-groove very well. The cut out for the cord works well if you are using a standard Apple cord which is fairly flexible close to the Lightning connector. If you use an aftermarket cord that is thicker or stiffer than the Apple cord (as many heavy duty cords are), the cord does not bend as readily where it has to curve from the bottom of the phone to exit the back of the stand. I cannot comment on the durability of the anodized, colored finishes as I bought a silver one so I would not have to be concerned about scratches or wear as I am using mine on my garage workbench. I gave the stand four stars only because it should have had the small rubber pads I added, and for it being less accommodating to non-OEM cords than I would like.

Very Good Stand for the iPhone 5 or 6
This is a very high quality stand that works for nearly any iPhone or iPad. It is made of a solid piece of aluminum (no welds or joints) with four very thin rubberized feet on the bottom to help keep the stand in place. It looks great, and if you get it on sale, it's a great bargain. My only slight disappointment is that the angle at which it holds the iPhone is a bit steep: I would have preferred it to let the phone slant back a few degrees further (this is why the four star rating, rather than five). A nice touch is that the stand is high enough that you can connect a lightning cable to the iPhone 5 or 6 while the phone is on the stand (I don't have an iPhone 4, so I cannot speak to that same issue with the previous connector design before the lightning cable was released). In spite of my wish for a slightly more inclined pitch, I'm happy I made the purchase, and I would not hesitate to recommend it to any iPhone 5 or 6 user. It's extremely study and has a great silvery metallic fleck look to it.

So much better than others I've tried.
This one doesn't bounce back when using a stylus like the others I've had. I use a stylus because of the arthritis in my hands. Also stays put on my desk.

My Review
Mine doesn't have any issue with sharp edges. There was one small burr that was easy to remove. The edges are square, not rounded, but I have no fear of cutting myself or scratching the phone. One of the feet on the bottom is out of place (no big issue, but really, you can't take even that much pride in doing your job?). My micro usb connectors seem just a little bit long for the phone to sit in the cradle with the wire coming out the bottom. 1/8 to 1/4 inches higher would have been better. There are little pads on lip of the cradle, so the bottom of the phone is not against the bare metal. I can place a 10-inch tablet in it landscape and the center of gravity is fine. If I place it in portrait, though, although not in danger of falling over, it is a bit wobbly if you press near the top with any force. I don't think it is advertised for 10-inch tablets, but, again, certainly in landscape no problem. The phone or tablet sits pretty vertically; it may be something like 85 degrees.

Looks and works well -- but tips over quite easily
This is a good product, makes access to your phone very convenient if you're working on a desktop where you also want your phone handy. I like that I can attach the charging cord, and still slip the phone in and out of the stand. The material is appropriately tough and I like the color -- so it feels, works, and looks fine. The problem that kept me from giving this five stars is that the center of gravity when the phone is resting on the stand is too close to the back of the unit, making it very easy to tip over backwards with just a little accidental contact. The problem can be exacerbated, depending on the stiffness and orientation of the charging cable. Since the angle is right and can easily be modified with a little bending, I modified it by bending it a little to move the supported phone forward, but also added a little museum putty to make the assembly more solid.
